Q1

Is the housing being acquired or built located in Ontario?

Answer truthfully — the result is only as good as the answers.

Why we ask this

The federal GST portion applies Canada-wide, but the Ontario rebates (the 8% provincial portion, the 2026 enhanced relief and ONHAP) only exist for housing in Ontario. Housing elsewhere follows that province's rules.
